Creating Customer Article Numbers

Would you like to assign your own specific article numbers to the products in the Siemens Industry Mall? To do this, you can then search for and order products using your article numbers. For mass changes we recommend you use the ‘File Upload’ feature. In just one step you can record a complete list of your customer part numbers in the Industry Mall.

 

  • Move the mouse to mySiePortal in the central menu bar. Then click ‘Administration’.
  • Select ‘Companies’.
  • In the ‘Company Details’ window select the tab ‘Customer Article Number’.

 

Individual Article Numbers

  • On the Company Details function bar, click Add No. An input window will open.
  • Here you can specify any Siemens part number based on your customer article number.
  • Optionally you can give your own product description.
  • Click OK to confirm.

 

Own Product Descriptions

  • On the Company Details function bar, click Add No. An input window will open.
  • Here you can specify any Siemens part number based on your customer article number.
  • Add in on the bottom line your product description, eg "Control for Machine Type A".
  • Click OK to confirm.

 

Upload Article Number Lists / File Uploads

Export customer article numbers

You can print out a list of all your company article numbers or save them locally as an Excel spreadsheet on your computer.  

  • Click More... on the toolbar.
  • From the drop down menu Export as Excel.
  • The function will be performed immediately.

 

Import customer article numbers

You can use the exported customer article number list as a template for editing. You will need a completed Excel list that contains three columns Customer part number, Siemens part number and Description.

  • On the toolbar click Upload List.
  • Select your edited list and click on the Upload List.
