SICAM A8000 CI-8531 is an Ethernet expansion module with two fibre-optic interfaces to connect remote SICAM I/Os to SICAM A8000 CP-8050. It supports line and ring configurations and has an integrated power supply (24-60 VDC) to power up to 8 I/O modules. Optionally redundant power supply units (PS-862x or PS-864x) are supported. Two fibre-optic LC multimode plug-ins are included which support distances up to 2km between the I/O rows.
