The Preset function can be used to redefine the zero in the machine coordinate system of the CNC. The preset values act on machine axes. Axes do not move when Preset is active,
but a new position value is entered for the current axis positions. Once the actual values have been reset, a new reference point approach is required before protection areas and software limit switches can be reactivated.
