Order

• The Software Update Service can be ordered just like a product. The corresponding Article No. is specified in the ordering data of the respective software product
• Possession of the current software version is a requirement
• One Software Update Service is ordered for each software license that is installed
• The Software Update Service expires one year after the order date
• It is automatically extended by another year unless canceled three months prior to expiration
• An annual flat rate is billed per license

The SINAMICS software is constantly being further developed and improved. The Software Update Service (previously: Software Maintenance Service) is the most convenient option for consistently making use of these improvements. It ensures that all new software versions released after the Software Update Service has been ordered will be automatically sent. This ensures that the software is always up-to-date.
