Power connectors

The connectors shown and the items sold by the meter are intended for assembly by the user and can be supplied as components. Contacts and the applicable tools are also available for the connectors.

The connectors (described here) are not the same as the originally assembled MOTION-CONNECT cables, but are compatible.

Siemens products are only permitted to be used for the applications envisaged in the catalog and in the associated technical documentation. If third-party products and components are deployed, then they must be recommended or approved by Siemens. To ensure trouble-free and safe operation of the products, they must be transported, stored, assembled, installed, commissioned, operated and maintained appropriately. The permissible ambient conditions must be complied with. The notes in the associated documentation must be observed. The design shown of the pre-assembled cables is not a design document.

The product/system described in this documentation may be operated only by personnel qualified for the specific task in accordance with the relevant documentation, in particular its warning notices and safety instructions. Qualified personnel are those who, based on their training and experience, are capable of identifying risks and avoiding potential hazards when working with these products/systems.

Liability for defects

Siemens will only accept liability for defects for the perfect functioning of a complete system if Siemens systems are equipped with cables assembled by Siemens. No claim based on liability for defects for the complete system can be derived from use of original Siemens single parts or spare parts by the customer on its own responsibility.
