Create MyVirtual Machine /Operate
Create MyVirtual Machine /Operate is a virtual test rack on the PC, specially designed for machine tools with SINUMERIK ONE.
With Create MyVirtual Machine /Operate, all functions of Run MyVirtual Machine /Operate are available and are expanded to include commissioning use cases at the machine manufacturer.
NC commissioning and tests can be carried out in advance through the use of the original SINUMERIK CNC kernel. This encompasses such things as the verification of customer-specific cycles as well as the configuration of kinematic chains or tests of NC functions. Thanks to the integrated virtual PLC, PLC projects created with TIA Portal (Step 7) can be loaded into a virtual SINUMERIK and tested. Corresponding machine processes, such as tool changes, can be manually simulated directly via a panel of toggle switches and then be processed and displayed as peripheral input/output values. The integrated drive emulation also allows the verification of the Safety Integrated (dbSI) project. Customer-specific HMI applications and expansions can be virtually integrated on the PC in the supplied SINUMERIK Operate, and their functions can be tested. Project data created or verified with Create MyVirtual Machine /Operate can then be used for commissioning on the real machine.
All of this allows the machine manufacturer to have a greater sense of reliability in an earlier phase of the machine's development. Thanks to preliminary virtual commissioning, the duration of commissioning on the real machine is significantly reduced.
In addition, Create MyVirtual Machine /Operate can be used to create customer-specific projects for import into Run MyVirtual Machine. Thus, the machine operator receives an offline programming workstation that is tailored to the real machine. This leads to the greatest possible accuracy and identification during job preparation.
Create MyVirtual Machine /Open
Create MyVirtual Machine /Open is an additional option to Create MyVirtual Machine /Operate and expands it to include a user interface so that an external software application, such as 3D machine or I/O simulation, can be integrated.
Data such as axis positions or PLC signals can be exchanged via this interface for further processing. Thus, such things as machine movements and sequences can be controlled in an external simulation system by original SINUMERIK CNC software. In addition, the software components can be started, controlled and managed to enable seamless integration into a higher-level simulation system or test automation.
Create MyVirtual Machine /3D
Create MyVirtual Machine /3D is an additional option to Create MyVirtual Machine /Operate, which expands it by an integrated 3D machine and stock removal simulation. This enables the machine operator to visually evaluate machine movements, such as configured kinematic transformations, and to check for freedom from collision. Protection models can be put into operation and verified for collision avoidance. Using the stock removal simulation, workpiece machining can be tested in advance and optimized for acceptance via simulation.
Create MyVirtual Machine /SIMIT Connector
Create MyVirtual Machine /SIMIT Connector extends the virtual test rack of SINUMERIK ONE (Create MyVirtual Machine /Operate) to a software-in-the-loop simulation and enables closed-loop engineering of the entire system. This means that the virtual test rack can be coupled and virtually tested against a behavior model of the machine in SIMIT.
Create MyVirtual Machine /SIMIT Connector provides a high-performance and consistent direct coupling of the virtual test rack with the SIMIT simulation platform and thus provides support during the quick and consistent creation of the digital machine twin and during high-performance test operation with the aid of software-in-the-loop.
Additional simulation and engineering applications can be connected via the open SIMIT simulation platform. For example, the NX Mechatronics Concept Designer (NX MCD) to connect the spatially functional machine behavior on the basis of the original NX design data. Importing from other CAD systems is also supported.
Closed-loop engineering consists of the main components of the mechanical construction of the machine (in NX MCD) together with the electrical behavior modeling (in SIMIT) and the control configuration/programming (in Create MyVirtual Machine). This allows convenient, cross-disciplinary and iterative development/testing in the office. Ranging from individual machine components all the way to complex CNC machines.
Additional use cases for the digital machine twin can also be found in the continued use of the overall system, e.g. in service, for promotion, or even for validation of subsequent customer-specific adaptations of the machine.
Run MyVirtual Machine /Operate
Run MyVirtual Machine is an NC programming workstation with identical controls on the PC, specially designed for machine tools with SINUMERIK ONE.
The offline programming workstation Run MyVirtual Machine /Operate simulates a machine tool controlled by SINUMERIK ONE. SINUMERIK Operate, together with an animated machine control panel, ensures realistic operation and programming on the PC. This does not require any additional programming knowledge.
The powerful tool enables practice-oriented offline programming on the PC based on the DIN 66025 programming language, the ShopMill and ShopTurn options, SINUMERIK-type voice commands, and the direct transfer of NC programs to the CNC. When the original SINUMERIK CNC software is used, NC programs can be created, pre-tested and verified for their NC syntax, regardless of whether you are using Run MyVirtual Machine /Operate or a CAM software. Thanks to its seamless integration into the process chain, from the idea to the workpiece, Run MyVirtual makes an essential contribution to increasing productivity and safety.
Run MyVirtual Machine /Operate also facilitates learning and professional training without the need for actual hardware or machines. For this purpose, preconfigured sample machines are available for immediate use. Using SINUMERIK Operate and the original SINUMERIK CNC kernel, all operating processes and NC programming operations can be used and CNC programs executed, without any restrictions. New functions and programming options can thus be learned, tested and demonstrated in a secure environment.
To achieve the greatest possible resemblance to a real machine, customer-specific configurations that were created using Create MyVirtual Machine /Operate can be imported directly into Run MyVirtual Machine /Operate.
Different machine configurations and SINUMERIK CNC software versions can be managed via the included user interface. This way the machine operator can map the job planning for several machines in one offline programming station (1:n).
Run MyVirtual Machine /Open
Run MyVirtual Machine /Open is an additional option to Run MyVirtual Machine /Operate for the operation of an external software application.
Run MyVirtual Machine /3D
Run MyVirtual Machine /3D is an additional option to Run MyVirtual Machine /Operate, which expands it by an integrated 3D machine and stock removal simulation. This enables the machine operator to evaluate machine movements visually and to check for freedom from collision. Using the stock removal simulation, workpiece machining can be tested in advance via simulation.
The 3D simulation is also ideal for training setup procedures and running in machines on a virtual model without exposure to any risks whatsoever.
